Surfer Bitten in Brazil’s Shark-Prone Waters

On 21 February 2023, André Luiz Gomes da Silva, a 32-year-old surfer, was attacked at Praia de Milagres, Olinda, Brazil. The shark bit his left thigh and calf, causing serious injuries.
