Shark Knocks Teen Off Surf Ski in South Australia
On 23 October 2022, 19-year-old Nat Drummond was competing in a surf ski race off Seacliff, Adelaide, South Australia, when a three-metre shark struck his ski. The impact launched him into the air before he landed in the water.
Drummond swam to fellow competitors, who pulled him onto their skis and brought him to shore. His ski was left with a hole from the sharkâs bite, but he was unharmed.
