Two Swimmers Bitten by Sharks on Same Day in Myrtle Beach

On August 15, 2022, two separate shark bite incidents occurred at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The first happened near 75th Avenue North, while the second occurred north of 82nd Avenue.

According to police, one swimmer sustained a severe bite to the forearm, while another suffered a minor glancing bite to the leg. Authorities did not release details about the victims’ identities.
